A little sad

So I went to my first appt. yesterday and my midwife felt my stomach, but I wasn't expecting her to feel anything and she didn't (I'm in grad school to become a midwife). I was 8w4d yesterday. She didn't try to use the Doppler either, which once again I know why. Even though the heart is beating it's kinda hard to hear with a Doppler at that point. I didn't get a sonogram bc that wasn't a day that their sonographer is there and she doesn't have to confirm dates bc I know the date of my LMP.
