I have a weak cervix. In 2010 I lost my no at 22 weeks and that was when I was diagnosed with cervical incompetence. In 2011 I had weekly progesterone shots and a cervical stitch.. my cervical length was checked every 2 weeks and at 18 weeks it began shortening but due to bed rest and careful observation i had my baby at 37 weeks.

This pregnancy I am doing the same thing. They checked my cervical length at 17 weeks but wont check it again until 20 weeks. I am paranoid and nervouse because I am 18 weeks today and in the past rhat is when it began to shorten. I wish they were doing it every 2 weeks like last time but they're not. I just hope everything will be fine for the next 2 weeks.
