Sono every week after 36 weeks?!?

Went to the doc today and with a pretty normal pregnancy so far, but doc wants to do a Sono every week after 36 weeks. Says it's a new protocol. Anyone else hear this?

Weird. Hopefully my deductible will kick in! Ive had to pay for all of mine so far. At least a percentage. I don't mind seeing my sweet pea, but I already know we're doing a csection. Seems excessive to me.

I wasn't supposed to have anymore after my anatomy scan at 20 weeks, but I've just been diagnosed with gestational diabetes so ill be getting ultrasounds more frequently as the end of my pregnancy approaches to make sure she's not getting too big.

Not for me. My doctor said after my 20 week anatomy scan I don't get anymore scans, unless something was wrong but thankfully all is good. Maybe everywhere is different?

I've heard every two weeks, but maybe it's just that Dr's preference? Seems odd for a non high risk tho...
