I'm 24 years old and never in my life have I had these kind of cramps during a period. It started in the middle of the night last night and woke me up in pain, then started again earlier today off and on. Right now it's been ongoing for a few hours. Tight, sharp cramps in my lower abdomen with what feels like pressure on my bowels. I hate so sound naïve but is this normal? I have never had bad periods. I've been off birth control for four years and we've been TTC for about one. Period was two weeks late but other than that nothing different.

Any ladies who feel this kind of pain every month, I am so sorry 😩
