Placental Abruption
Went to the ER Tuesday afternoon because I was bleeding. After ultrasounds and waiting around it was discovered that a bigger part of my placenta has separated from the uterine wall. I am beyond terrified. Drs say there's a good chance with bed rest it can repair itself, and in the ultrasounds the baby was doing just fine with a strong heart rate of 152bpm. But also with only being 13 weeks there is nothing they can do to help. I am just so terrified of the worst happening. I have been feeling baby move and it almost scares me when it does and I cry. I know the movement is a good thing but it still just scares me. Has anyone had this happen before or know someone who has? This is my third pregnancy I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and I never had anything like this before. I guess I'm just looking for some support and kind words. 😕
