Which is more important to you? Finishing school or spending time with your family.

This has been an ongoing battle between my mom and me. I tend to find my education more important then spending time with my family. That doesn't mean I don't make time with my family, it's just not as much as she likes (there are also other factors why I don't spend as much time with her).

Well instead of becoming more involved with my education like maybe finding programs or being supportive she's threatened to use it as punishment. This includes threatening to make me transfer from a magnet school (#6 in the country btw 😁) to my neighborhood school, ect.

I'm going off to college so I won't have this problem anymore but I want to know other's opinions.
