Anyone know what is safe to take for a cold?

I have a head cold not sure what I can take to get some relief.

In the First Trimester my doc wouldn't give me anything.... I'm just getting over a Viral Upper Respiratory Infection with no meds to help except Tylenol... Doc said I could use a humidifier, saline spray, Vicks, lots if water and rest...... Also sleep on an elevated pillow so all the mucus doesn't drain to the back of your throat.... Good Luck!

My dr said Tylenol is ok...but call your office and usually the receptionist has a list of meds that are safe to take

For first trimester I was told I couldn't take anything. Lots of soup and Gatorade. Also a humidifier and saline drops worked wonders for me.

Anyone know what is safe to take for a cold?
