Did u have an epidural?

I tried like hell not to with my first,  but after 8 hours of intense labor, I finally gave in. I'm going to try to tough it out this time. We will see.

My sister had an epidural with her first two and decided to go natural with her third. She told me it was the stupidest decision she ever made and she passed out from the pain! 😱 she said she wouldn't recommend it at all. Although I've heard some epidural horror stories (like recurrent migraines), I'm willing to risk it.

Everyone is different... With my first I got iv pain meds I wanted nothing but started panicking because of all the newness they gave me some Benadryl to help me breath (I have asthma) I remember falling asleep waking up for contractions

With second I went with nothing the more confortable you are the easier it is.....

This time it will be all natural again!

Am I superwoman no.... I know someone who had epidural and is paralyzed for life!!!

So the whole needle going in my back is not going to happen!

I gave in to one after 28 hours of labor. Not for pain management so much as for sleep to prevent a seizure.

I was dead set on going all natural, well... turns out I'm having twins. So after talking with my doctor I've decided to have an epidural even if I think I can do it without. Reason being is, if baby A is born and baby B goes into distress or anything happens to where I'd need to have an emergency c-section, without an epidural, I would have be put completely out.  I don't want there to be a chance, if I can help it, that I'd miss the first breath of one of my babes (:

I did all natural with my first and plan to do it again with this one in December! It's rough I'm not going to lie, but your body was made to do it!
