Wedding vs upcoming period!?

If I start taking a new birth control pill now (6 days before my wedding) but four days till next expected period , can I postpone my period until after the honeymoon ??!

In theory yes. But your body may get confused and you may have spotting/break through bleeding.

Yes. Speak with your doctor, but you can usually Not skip a week of pills. Just continue a new pack without taking the sugar pills. When your finished taking pack two you AF will visit. Congrats :)

Yeah I use to do that when it was summer time. I would just start my new pack the week of my placebo pills because I can't wear tampons and if I had a vacation that week where I would be swimming I would just skip my period. I wouldn't recommend doing it all the time because it can mess up your cycles but once in a while is fine

If you're already on BC pills you can skip your "off" week (sugar pills), and simply start the new pack. Depending on what kind you take, you may have breakthrough spotting. If all your pills have the same amount of hormone in them, you should be good. If it's a triphasil pack, you can take the second pack in reverse to extend your period without breakthrough bleeding. 
However, if you're just starting the pills, it may delay your period... Or you may have some spotting... I've done this before when starting back on BC (most don't matter WHEN you start them during your cycle), and it completely delayed mine until my "off" week.

If by "postpone" you mean screw up your hormoness. As for stopping the bleeding I doubt that will work.

I tried that for my wedding and it backfired! I wasnt on bc until i figured out i af was not only a possible guest but also that bitch was crashing out honeymoon! So I asked my ob for the pill- she said sure and gave me a script- needless to say it didnt work and that type of hormones made me incredibly nauseous an i puked before during and after the wedding!
