When should I start the pill?

I just got engaged (yay!) and I'll be getting married probably in June of 2016. When should I start the pill so I can make sure I don't have my period for my wedding? Any advice appreciated!! Thanks. ❤️

You can definitely start when you want! But to be completely effective by the wedding night I would start 3 months before if your getting the pill. If you're getting an IUD it's effective immediately. It ultimately depends what type you get

congratulations start it whenever you want.  when your wedding comes just do not take the sugar pills, you will not have a period.

Start now, start a week before the wedding, it's all the same!

If it were me I would start on the first day of my next period to get my body adjusted to the bc.

Don't worry about forward planning specific dates because you can discuss with your doctor about delaying your period. This means instead of taking sugar pills on the week of your wedding, you will take additional hormonal pills which keeps your period away and provides contraception. This is completely safer
