Preeclampsia?

Question

Those that have had preeclampsia, how long were you hospitalized before you were delivered?

I had it at 36 weeks with my twins and was sent to the hospital immediately for an emergency c section

I was put on bed rest at 28 weeks, didn't do a good job at it plus had a craptastic ex husband, anyway went to hospital at 2 am on my 30th week and had my daughter via csection at 1. I was there 8 days and daughter was in nicu for 6 weeks.

I was told I had preeclampsia (severe, I shouldn't be alive) and it took as long as prep took (less than 1 hr)..they deliver immediately unless you specifically tell them not to, which is not a good idea. waiting can cause serious complications for you and baby and can result I'm possible death. not trying to scare you but  that's reality.

I had to stay in the hospital for 2 days. Then they induced. I was 37 weeks thankfully and my son was healthy. Good luck to you.

Diagnosed at 3, admitted to hospital by 5, gave birth 24 hours later.
