A few months ago I had discussed the VNS (vegal nerve stimulator) surgery with my neurologist since i have 4 types of epilepsy. Yesterday OHSU called to schedule my surgery finally! I will have it on October 9th of this year. Its a simple surgery that lasts 1 hour at the longest. The device is the size of a credit card. So in 2 months i get to travel an hour 1 way 4 times. Woohoo!
