I had my mirena for 4.5 years with ~2-3 periods per year (more just like a day of spotting, no real bleeding). I had a day of spotting July 3rd which I assumed was my AF. I got my Mirena removed July 9, have been testing OPKs everyday since to try and determine where my cycle was. Didn't get a positive through month of July and no period beginning of August. I am also tracking BBT and had no spike in July (started tracking July 1) which leads me to believe I didn't ovulate in July. But yesterday I finally got a positive OPK!!!! This made me so excited!!! Now just waiting for my BBT to rise, really hope I ovulate this month! If I don't get pregnant this month I am at least just hoping for AF to let me know my body is getting back on track! I've already noticed symptoms I had with mirena resolving so that's a good sign!!!

I know a lot of people coming off mirena are looking for time lines as to when things will happen (I know I was!), so just thought I'd share my story.
