Should we tell people?

I just started dating one of my best friends about two months ago. We haven't told much of anyone we are together because we have the same friend group and I'm going to be leaving the country for the next five months. Should we just wait to tell anyone till I get back?

I want to tell people. 
And the point in waiting is because we have the exact same friend group and everyone is gunna think it's super weird. But ... Idk I guess he is nervous that if we tell people he will have to handle all the questions by himself. I'm leaving on Saturday.

You don't have to tell anyone you're dating. It's YOUR life. If you want to share the news, great! If not, it's okay to not tell anyone. :)
