Maternity For Snowy Weather

I'm a born and raised so cal girl, and we're moving to Iowa this week. For those of you that have experienced pregnancy through winter, do you have any tips or recommendations for maternity winter wear? I'm due in February, and have LOTS of learning ahead of me in regards to living in cold weather! All advice welcome :). Also, if you have any pointers on how to keep my newborn warm once he arrives, I'm ALL ears! Thanks!
