I've had my Mirena for over a year now and although I love that my period is almost non-existent, save for    occasional light spotting, I get cramps that are worse than anything I've ever felt. I went to my doctor and had an ultrasound done and she couldn't see anything wrong with the placement or my body but the intense vaginal pains are to the point that I had to call out of work last week. In the past, they've been super quick waves that I could just grit my teeth through but this is starting to interfere with my life! Anyone else had a similar experience? What did you do?
