Let's talk about this. How do we raise an innocent child in a world where reporters are murdered on live television and the media disrespects them by glorifying the shooter ( insert any mass shooting here)? How do we teach our child to love, and not be a victim? How do we Protect them from child trafficking? From sexual predators? Where justice isn't always served, where equality is an ideal instead of a reality? How to we raise them in a world where money has replaced God and Christianity is subject for debate? Where everyone is in a competition to be famous? How do I raise my daughter to be confident and not sexually objectified when sex sells EVERYTHING!?

What are we supposed to do? Morals are grey, love is a commodity to be bought and sold and regulated, and our money should read ' get rich or die trying', where science and knowledge is seen as a threat and wisdom is considered a residual defect of Previous eras.

I'm sincerely scared. Where the United States trails the rest of the world in everything but homicides, war spending, and incarceration. What does that say about US?

I love my country, but I'm fearful for its future. I'm afraid for my daughter's future.
