Getting an epidural while in labor???

I definitely didn't want one at first but decided to get it after 10 hours of being in labor. The contractions honestly aren't bad. I've had ulcers way worse (pain wise) but the only difference is the contractions are constant so it got tiring after a while so I was like SCREW IT! Give me the damn thing.

I didn't want one, but I went into full blown labor at 30 weeks and they spent the next 8 days attempting to stall contractions. By the tume they admitted that they were no longer able to keep me from dilating, I had already been through over 72 hours combined labor. I was so tired that I gladly took the epidural and slept through the next 13 hours of contractions and woke up 15 minutes before I pushed my daughter into this world.

I didn't make it int one with my first. I was full blown dilated  and pushing. I begged for it though. My second labor I had no indication I was in labor except for the bloody show and my husband convinced me to go in . I asked for the epidural the moment they admitted me . I had no pain and couldn't feel the contractions,but I remembered the first time and that was enough.
