Genital HSV1 or HSV2 and pregnant?

How has your pregnancy been so far? What foods cause you to have an outbreak? For those of you who gave birth vaginally, were you nervous?

Answer

I didn't give birth vaginally and I have never really broken out (didn't know foods could do that) my c section wasn't planned so at 34 weeks I started taking acyclovir twice daily to prevent any outbreaks. Doctors will have you take whatever you're prescribed for outbreaks daily towards the end of your pregnancy. Many women successfully give birth who are HSV positive.
