Detached placenta?

I am 31 weeks pregnant and was helping my husband lift our canoe and I felt a little tugging on my left side. Could I have detached my placenta? It's only about 40 pounds. I called my doctor and he didn't seem worried but I'm still worried...

If you're placenta detached there would be bleeding. You probably pulled a muscle

I had detached placenta with my first. You bleed when that happens.

I did this with a suitcase a few weeks ago! I'm guessing it was just a muscle because baby is fine, but that taught me!
