Loss of a twin

Nicole
Last night I went in to the labor and delivery unit for lots of mucous type discharge. They started off with an ultrasound to check the babies heartbeats. We could immediately tell something was wrong. Baby b was much much larger then Baby a. He/she was moving all over the place, kicking and bouncing around. But baby a wasn't moving, and we couldn't find the heartbeat. I'm completely devastated. We lost a little boy at 14 weeks in January and were over the moon excited to be welcoming twins to our family only to find out at 15 weeks 3 days that we lost another baby. Not only am I mourning the loss of our twin but I'm scared for the remaining twin. They assured me that he/she looks very healthy and strong but how will losing one twin affect the other ??
