Does this bother anyone else?

It really bothers me when someone says in a post that they don't use birth control and half the comments are "you need birth control!" "If you don't want to get pregnant use condoms" while all of that is true people don't use birth control for many different reasons and we don't know what the reason is no need to criticize them for it

What bugs me is when people assume that birth control, condoms and spermicide are all 100% effective at protecting against pregnancy. They're not .__.

If someone wants to have sex without getting pregnant they NEED to use birth control. Basic biology, no way around it. Anyone who advertises such flagrant irresponsibility on their part should expect to get an earful from the rest of us.

It really bothers me.. I personally can't take birth control without being sick in some way everyday. Yes, I know there is a period of time where you have to go through that to get used to it. I stay sick even after that point is over though. We just plan around my fertility and period windows.. It's called "natural family planning" which some people seem to have forgotten exists. Obviously it has it's risks, but it can be just as affective as a condom if you are careful.

Not everyone can use birth control, my cousin can't take it because it affects her daily meditation she has to take, so they are just extra careful

I hate being enslaved by birth control. While single, I just go without; it's better for MY body anyway. I'm about to get some, tomorrow as a matter of fact. It's a personal choice. One can take the chance or reduce the chance. I'd rather reduce the chance than end up attached to someone who I don't want or doesn't want me for the rest of my life. That's not true now, but I see it happen every day. I don't want that for myself.
