Baby name family controversy
My mother is pushing for me to name our second child Hart (my maiden name) regardless of the gender.
My mom gets really angry when I say no, like I'm insulting our family. I tried to compromise with it as the middle name and that just isn't good enough for her.
Just want my kid to have a nice normal name. I can't tell you the number of second looks and misunderstandings I've had over my own name. I just want to try to avoid some of that with my kids.
Am I being a brat?
