Insight...?

I am currently 4 days late, husband and I have been TTC for about five months now. Took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. Have been disappointed each month so far with negs and a period that shows up on about day 31 so I am leary of being late....

Our two year old surprised us by just sneaking in with no signs of sore breasts and no morning sickness, fatigue or anything else. With her, I didn't realize I was two weeks late until walking by the feminine products section in the grocery store and it dawned on me that I was super super late. We weren't even TTCing then so it was major suprise.

I am wondering if it may be the same thing now but with a "watched pot never boils" issue? Is it that it may be too early and I just had a false neg this time? Should I wait a few days and take another test?
