Could I still be pregnant?

Hey guys!  I'm 5 days late for my period.  I've never been late like this,  even before I was on the pill,  but it's my second period after stopping birth control.  I took a pregnancy test,  but it came up negative.  Could the pill make my period wonky,  or could I still be pregnant,  even without a positive result?

I had a regular 28 day cycle the first month off bc. My next cycle I was 9 or 10 days late...I'd never been late before that. I thought I was pregnant for sure. Good luck to you!

If you're having sex you could be pregnant, but after coming off BC, many women's periods get a little wonky while the hormones sort themselves out.

Give yourself time, when I got off BC I got one period and nothing for about 3 months I found out I was low progesterone because of the BC and had to boost it to get my periods, i'm back to normal now. I say wait and see what happens, I too thought I was pregnant, but I wasnt
