When to tell

I am 8w 2D and showing big time for some reason. My parents and in laws know but when do you tell your boss and friends? People are catching on that I am not drinking or going out. I had a miscarriage at 3 weeks so I'm nervous about telling others before 12 weeks.

I just told my bosses today, at 9 weeks. I want them to know how productive I can be during this time. I feel like if I miscarry, it's going to be difficult regardless of who knows. At least I'll have a support system and a sympathetic work environment if everyone is on the same page. It's gotta be a personal decision, though. What's right for me may not be the right thing for anyone else.

Unless you do work that could put your baby at risk, you don't have to tell work until it's time to arrange maternity leave.  They'll probably figure it out by then!  Do what feels right for you.  A few key people know, but we are waiting til 12 weeks for the most part.

I had a miscarriage in March and had told everyone that I was pregnant just to find oyt at my 12 week app that my baby stopped growing at 8 weeks. It was so hard announcing to everyone that I miscarried and some people still ask me if I'm gonna have my baby soon. I am now pregnant again 8 weeks 2 days (I'm guessing)I'll find out on Thursday, and I'm still announcing this pregnancy early also. Just stay positive! Happy thoughts will give you happy outcomes! I showed fast for my first baby bc I was super bloated.  I waited until 13 weeks

Whenever you are comfortable. If people question you not drinking or going out, you can tell them you are on a cleanse or watching what you eat. I haven't had the miscarriage experience but we are slowly telling people. I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and having an ultrasound. After that I'll be much more confident telling people.
