Tmi - pooping more?

I know someone just mentioned this not long ago, but I can't find it on here. Last two days I've noticed I'm pooping at least 2-4 times a day. Nothing runny, all normal. Anyone else? Labor sign?

I've had this since week 35... Then in last two days it has become more like diarrhoea... And now I'm awake at 3am with contractions every 7 mins so hoping this is the beginning!!!!

It's your body getting ready. It's nice that it'll empty itself 👍🏻 doesn't really mean early labor. I'm due Thursday and have had this for about a month now. It does make things more exciting to know that you're close enough for your body to start preparing 😊

i had an episode of this at 35 weeks, then constipation and now i'm 39 weeks back at using the bathroom several times a day! i hope its a sign of impending labor!

I'm actually so thankful I've been dealing with this for 3-4 days now. After months of constipation it's a nice change of pace. It would be even better if it was a sign of impending labor!!

Since 32 weeks I have been having increased and soft BM all the time! I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow, and when I mentioned it to my doctor, she said as long as it's not diarrhea and it looks normal it's perfectly okay! It's driving me insane being in the bathroom so much between frequent peeing and BM.

Yeap since i turned at 35 weeks i go everyday and twice a day at times. I dont even have to exercise  now just to go to toilet lol

I posted this a couple of weeks ago. At 36w I was pooping about 3-4 times a day but at 38w I'm back down to 1-2 times a day. No idea what caused the increase!

YES! I'm 38 weeks today. I just thought it was happening because my body is running out of room. Never thought of it as a sign of labor!
