Major spotting

So I'm extremely irregular and rarely ever got my period I mean MONTHS with out it when I got on birth control (implant) it completely stopped and suddenly I'm having medium spotting daily its been going on for about a week and a half my period would usually only last about 2-3 days anyone know what it may be ?

The implant can really mess with your cycles as far as the frequency and length of your cycle. It sounds like what you're having is "breakthrough" spotting or bleeding which is common for the first 6-12 months on the implant. If it doesn't stop after about 2 weeks, call your doctor that gave you the implant and let them know what's going on. They will have more specific answers for your situation.
