Help please! Psych BA to MSW?

Question

Are there any people out there who graduated from college with a BA in psychology? I will be graduating with mine this December. What did you do with you degree? Anyone go into social work? All suggestions/advice welcome :-) Thanks in advance!

I'm a msw almost lcsw and love what I do. I say go for it if you want to help at risk clients and have a passion for that. There's so many fields you can go into with a msw. I'm currently a therapist at a school and love my job!

I just recently graduated with my BA in Addictions now Im working on my msw... I work with mostly those who are dual diagnosed. I LOVE what I do.

I got my BS in Psych but I went in a different direction for grad school. I have been an officer in the military for 11 years (did NROTC in undergrad) and got an MBA and switched career fields to human resources and I love it. I'm also finishing up a master's in national security. My dream was to be a marriage and family therapist but oh well...

I almost did clinical psych PhD. Many in my program did that, PsyD or MSW. All of my friends who did social work seem content with their jobs. I worked in psychiatry for a year and decided it wasn't for me and went to school for MD instead. I'm glad I got some exposure to make the best decision for me!

I got a BA in psych, an MS in psychology with an emphasis in marriage, family, and child therapy, and am in a PsyD  program now.
