5 days late but BFN

So I'm 5 days late and have had very regular cycles for the last year. Earlier this month I had a lot of symptoms that really felt like I was pregnant. We have been ttc for 4 months for out first. I've now taken quite a few tests (almost every day since 5 days before af) and they all came back bfn. I called my doctors office and they are going to do an hcg test tomorrow. I am really trying to keep my emotions level but it's so hard not to hope when I am so late. Anyone have this situation and then find out they were pregnant even though the home tests were bfn?
