Lesbian trying to conceive

 Me and my partner are ready to take the next step in our relationship. We want to have a baby. At the time her cousin is 6 mo pregnant and possibly considerin letting us adopt. But I don't want to get my hopes up! Not sure if we should strt trying to conceive. Don't know how I really feel about having sex with a man for either of us. -- thi may sound dumb but does the "turkey basting method" work?
