So mad at carters return policy!

Omg so I bought well over a thousand bucks worth of stuff I'm a huge shopper and when I like a store I am a loyal customer. I bought stuff for my son to be and I wanted to exchange sizes they didn't have any of the items in the store and they drove me nuts telling me I could only get a store credit when all I wanted was to be refunded my money and reorder the same items online in the next size. Whatever they wouldn't do it cleaning my card is bent and they couldn't swipe when I went to pay on Labor Day to buy items it seemed to swipe just fine! I left the store so mad and called the online number and tried to ask for an exchange and was told that I could only exchanged 3 items and the rest I would have to return I was shocked as I really love the tema and do not even want my money back just the next size up! To make a long and annoying story short I had to return and reorder the items and basically had to pay all over again for all my items and wait to be refunded which was a huge inconvenience since it can take 7 days to even see a refund and that's a chunk of money! Whatever was super aggravated. Someone told me to shop at the children's place and baby gap said they are much much easier to deal with! Sad Becuz I was completely sold on carters and osh kosh clothes are so adorable! Just cannot deal with this whole return policy thing
