Question

So I asked my midwife if Tylenol was ok to take during pregnancy but I totally forgot to ask about Tylenol sinus? It just rained real bad where I am and brought a major cold front with it and my sinuses are going crazy, does anyone know if it's ok to take Tylenol sinus? And not the PM kind, just regular sinus. Thank you.

Tylenol Sinus is not on the list from my OB.

I honestly think it depends on your provider. My dr actually recommends Tylenol Sinus for congestion and colds. I'm also currently taking Zyrtec-D with my antibiotic for the sinus infection I have.

It's probably not safe to take a decongestant. You could try saline nasal spray which is just salt water. If you're desperate you can try afrin but only for 3 days otherwise your nose gets rebound stuffiness. Feel better!

Regular surfaced and benadryle are ok to take. Nothing else with a major decongestant because it will eliminate fluids from your body and could affect amniotic fluid. Tylenol is safe but not ibuprofen.

Sudafed is okay to take while pregnant.. I took it with my last pregnancy for bad a bad sinus headache. Hope this helps you!
