Not sure if this is childish, but I really don't want a teenagers response. Obviously every relationship is different but I'm just curious how much time passed before your SO told you they loved you and truly meant it? Mine and I have been together almost a year, recently live together, and all his actions scream that he genuinely cares and loves me, but when I told him at 7 months how I felt, he said he just wasn't there yet. Then today when borrowing his cell because mine had died I noticed one of the last people he texted was a girl he had once drunkenly stated "was the girl who got away." When I opened it he had texted her about how he had missed her and loved her and that we were going skydiving, and how glad he was that she was there for his first jump. I had known he had gone skydiving before but he had never mentioned her being apart of it. I guess I'm really just confused as to why he would text a girl he loved her while celebrating my birthday with me and not being ready to say it to me. Should I be worried or is my 23 year old brain wigging out ? Thoughts??
