We have rocker glider and a rocking recliner in our living room. My husband LOVES the glider, he used it with our son all the time. I like the recliner a little better. But we won't be putting one in baby's room.

I have two little children and one on the way and yes I strongly recommend one. You will get your money's worth. Mine was from target. It works great.
