Frustrated

We have been trying for #2 for 10 months and went to see a fertility specialist last week we have decided to start tests but need AF to show they do the tests on day 3 of AF I am on cycle day 39 no AF or symptoms of it! I have taken a bunch of tests all bfn's!!! I don't understand what could be going on and wondering if I should call my dr. Any advice is appreciated.
