I was just wondering since my gmas first child and my moms first child was both a girl that I will have a girl first too? Or did you have a different gender first than your mom did?

Gender is determined by the sperm, i thing a trend could possibly exist on the fathers side. But you never know, good luck!

Genetics for the sex of the baby are (unfortunately) determined by the male. We women only carry the X chromosomes; men carry both X and Y which means it's his sperm which dictates the sex of your baby. 
Beyond that, nope!! My grandmother had 2 girls, my mother had girl - boy - girl - boy, and my sister had a boy then girl, I had 3 boys and now having a girl. My brothers don't have children. :)
