A chemical pregnancy is an early miscarriage. The reason why it is called a chemical is that you are to early to detect the pregnancy by anything other than a pregnancy test and blood work. An ultrasound could not pick it up. I'm sorry if this happened to you. I had one last month and I am currently pregnant again. Good luck!

I had one last month. I had 2 postive tests 5 days after my expected period date and then my period started  2 days later (so 7 days late). It was heavier than my normal cycle and I had intese cramps for the 1st day. It was quite heartbreaking BUT at least I was able to get pregnant at last. Now I'm hoping for a BFP that sticks this month.

I had one last month.  My first test showed up positive then negative ones.  My period was 4 days late and when I got it was clotting and a very heavy flow for the first three days.  So sorry it happened to you.  It's depressing but it's good to know at least that we got pregnant.  Baby dust to you✨🌟✨🍀

So my period was 5 or so days late, then started and had bad back ache and cramps, then heavy heavy bleeding and a lot of clots all at once, couldn't get out of bed I just needed to sleep, thought it was a late period. I'm usually like clockwork. Do you think this was a chemical pregnancy or miscarriage? Btw I took a test on 8/20, it was negative. So if I was I'd only be like 3 weeks +\-... Thoughts please and thanks
