Is foot massage bad??

I came to get a pedicure and the lady sitting next to me told me not to get a foot massage because it can cause contractions! Never heard such a thing! Is this true? Im 27 weeks.

They would have to massage a particular spot (pressure point) constantly to be able to give you contractions. And you also have to be past 30-35+ weeks. But a regular pedi foot massage should not send to the labor room

No. My hubby has been giving me foot massages all 9 months of pregnancy. I still get them and I'm 39 weeks. Not in labor yet 😜
