Are you taking medication during pregnancy? (Unisom, Tylenol PM or anti- depressant)

Curious about how many moms out there are medicating during pregnancy

I'm personally choosing not to take anything during my pregnancy. Just my prenatals. I'm sick with the cold right now for the second time and just trying to drink lots of fluids and rest. It's not any fun but it's a personal choice I made for my baby. It may suck right now but I believe it's well worth it! I'm a mom now. Gotta do what you gotta do.

I take unisom almost nightly. It's just Benadryl and totally safe for baby. I used to take ambien but obviously don't since I've been pregnant. Tylenol is also considered totally safe but it's more of a concern towards your own liver if you take more than 4 grams daily (4000 milligrams). I used to take Zoloft for my depression but decided to stay off of them during my pregnancy, and honestly it hasn't been too much of an issue. Other than being a little more worried about things then usual I haven't felt extremely depressed whatsoever, and am even considering staying off of them after birth. Here are some that are pregnancy class b that are considered safe during pregnancy but haven't been tested thoroughly. So if you absolutely need it you shouldn't have an issue, but if you can go without it that's usually reccomended.

If it wasn't for my daily dose of diclegis I would be a vomiting mess. Been taking it daily since 11 weeks and the few times I've tried to stop I end up puking my guts out. I'm now 22 weeks and most likely I'm going to be taking it up til the very end.

I take prenatals and vitamin d; allergic to Tylenol.

I also take synthroid because I was born with out a thyroid. That's it

My doc suggested unisom for morning sickness. So far it's helped some, but I'm not a big fan of sleeping that much or that hard.

I took a prescribed medication throughout my first trimester, and a different prescribed medication throughout my second trimester. So far in my third I've just taken an occasional colace or Benadryl.

I took Tylenol when my fever went over 102 since a high fever can hurt the baby. Otherwise, I avoid any medications aside from prenatals.

I used to take klonopin and Effexor before I was pregnant for depression and anxiety. I went off of everything when I found out. I went through pretty bad withdrawal from the klonopin but I'm doing pretty well now. I have anxiety but I try to manage it naturally! I get very bad headaches and take tylonel as needed! No more the two in one day.
