Heavy/medium spotting normal when pregnant?

Got my BFP but AF is due tomorrow and I've been spotting today (brown and light pink), enough to use a panty liner. Is that normal?

My husband is a doctor and he tells me that light or dark spotting in early pregnancy is normal.. Give it few more days and do another test tho to c of ur line can be more clear

Hi ladies! Just to update you, unfortunately I ended up getting my full blown period this AM :/ looks like it will have to be next month for me (God willing)! I was just surprised that I kept getting positives.
