t at 11 weeks with the long needle I'm nervous how does it feel wats the Pro's and cons from the test

I opted out of the test. No matter what the results, we would carry to fill-term anyway, so I felt it an unnecessary risk and pain.

I'm not getting an amniocentesis, I am getting a 12 week ultrasound and blood tests for genetic disorders, but it's not the panorama. My insurance doesn't cover the panorama testing, unless this testing in doing on Tuesday comes back with high genetic complication rates.

They don't normally do amnio until like 14 weeks at the earliest I think. The earlier tests are either blood draws or 11-13 weeks you can do the Nuchal Translucency test which involves a finger prick for blood and a scan.

Amniocentesis? To check the surrounding fluid around the baby for genetic disorders. Sounds horrid to me, but I'm sure it's not as bad as it sounds!

Ask for a panorama test. They just take your blood and can get the babies DNA from it. It isn't risky like the amniocentesis.

They are just testing me thru my blood.  We have it done at 14 weeks
