Does anyone live in the Dallas TX area, was wondering how much you pay for daycare

I'm in the Plano area. We didn't need day care until my son was three. After doing tons of research we opted to go with a private school (prestowood Christian academy). He did Pre-K for 3 year olds and then Pre-K for 5 year olds. It was way cheaper than traditional day care and he learned so much. They also offer scholarship opportunities, which helped us a ton. We paid $500/month for Pre-K 4 and it was Monday-Friday 7:30-3, after school care went to 6pm and was an extra $20/month. He went into kindergarten 2 years later with great manners, could count to 100, add and subtract double digit numbers, and so much more. Lots of things he would have never learned in a traditional daycare setting. Just something the think about :)

I've lived in Austin and living in Houston now. I paid about $1000 a month for preschool Monday-Friday 6:30-6pm. I would think Dallas is about the same price.
