False water break??

Question

I'll be 38 Weeks tomorrow, and last night I had a gush of fluid after I bent over to pick something up. It soaked through my gym shorts, and kept leaking for around 30 minutes. We went into the hospital, and the nurse said it definitely appeared to be my water that had broken. They ran a test to be sure, and it came back negative for amniotic fluid, and I was sent home.

Today, I have been leaking non stop. It's gone through my underwear and jeans multiple times. I called the doctor again, and they said it was likely just watery discharge. Anyone else have any experience with this?? It seems like a LOT of fluid.

Same type of thing started happening to me about an hour ago! I keep getting these small gushes I can't tell if it's my water breaking or pee or what! No contractions or anything tho! I'm being induced in the morning so not going to worry about it unless it progresses.

Same thing happened to me. I got tested twice and they gave me an ultrasound to check the fluid levels in my uterus and everything was fine. So I think it is just watery discharge. So weird

I'd have them retest. When I went to L&D with my first, they told me my water hadn't broken. I made them retest when they were going to discharge me (I was group b strep positive) and sure enough, their first test was wrong.

If you are worried about the amount of fluid, go back to the Dr and request an ultrasound to make sure your fluid levels are normal. I have gone to the Dr for it twice and didn't feel better about them calling it "just fluid" until I got that ultrasound.
