Provera and metformin any luck getting pregnant first month?

I have pcos. Metformin helped me conceive last pregnancy in April. Miscarried in May. Doctor just started me back on double the dose of metformin since I have not even had a period since July 4-8. Doctor is also putting me on provera to force a period so I'm not allowed to try for 2-3 weeks which stinks but at least after that every thing works. Anyone have luck in the first month on them? I really want to have a kid before summer next year.
