Wow that's really cruel in my eyes. Over money? As a mother I would think about what is best for my children instead of me. Yes he should be paying child support but that can all be worked out with time in court. But punishing your children and their father by not letting them see each other because of money issues is just selfish and cruel.

This is a complicated one. If my husband and I were to separate, I wouldn't keep my kid from him unless he was abusive or living a dangerous lifestyle. If he couldn't pay child support, I would go to court and keep fighting for it, but I'd probably let my kid see their dad. If not paying child support is the ONLY reason a kid wouldn't be allowed to see their dad, then that's pretty shitty of the mother.

If he is seeing his child, he's doing his duty as. A father and will obviously provide for it in his own way. A child should get to see their father if they really want to be a father to the kid. It's about the kid now!

My kids still go see their father, sometimes their mother's come pick their grandkids up and I'm just now filing child support after 3 to 5 years

Unless it's a very young child that doesn't recognize ppl or know mommy daddy grandma etc I would not take his dad from him. Kids NEED their fathers around ( not if they were abusive of course). In the mean while, if talking to him over and over didn't work I would see what I can do about it ( legally wise).

Idk honestly I'm going to have to assume this is more complicated than just money. I personally let my daughter see her dad as long as other people like his mother or sister supervise, even though he literally has contributed no money at all during her entire life and is to this day refusing to give me a divorce.  The only reason I'm so strict is his family called to tell me he yells at her and leaves her unattended. But honestly he still only asks to even see her during holidays. I don't think it's right to not let the child see their parent over money.  It's not about you or  him,  It's about your kids.

Yes.  Withholding your child from another parent, unless that parent is a danger to the child, only hurts your kid.  No matter what the other parent is doing to piss you off, you don't have any right to keep them from seeing their kid. (Unless, like I said, they are a danger in anyway to that child)
