Clomid for low progesterone

Hi all. I had an ectopic in April with our first baby.. 2 rounds of methotrexate. Devastating and don't wish that on anyone. Saw the RE as I'm healthy and OB didn't know why it happened. I had a sonohysterogram.. Both tubes open although they didn't fill as fast as the RE would've liked but I spasmed. So that could be the cause. I ovulate each month, but my progesterone was 5, 7 days after which is low. RE is recommending Clomid. Has anyone done this for low progesterone? Results? Thanks!
