CM type?

Question

What does it mean when you have huge globs (meaning it took me wiping 5 times to get it all out) of clear, long, stretchy, gooey mucus?

I think it means that I'm near ovulation?

**I don't know my LMP because I just had my Mirena removed 8/24 and bled right after from 8/25 for 6 days. Don't know if that was my real period or not.

TTC, but didn't think it would happen this month because of the IUD removal. I'm not planning on using ovulation testing or anything along those lines unless we have several failed months of conceiving. Just curious on that type of CM.

EWCM is a secondary sign of ovulation and can be helpful when trying to determine when to have sex. Now that you are seeing it, it's time to HIO!  Good luck!

I have my Mirena removed back in March and just my BFP Sunday. It takes a year for all those hormones to naturally clear out of your system. Last month I drank one of those Urine Detox drinks that (druggie) people use to pass drug tests. I figured if it can clear drugs out of a persons system, a couple hormones should be no problem (keep it in mind it had been 5 months since I had Mirena removed so a lot of the hormones had already cleared out). Sunday I got a strong BFP!!

I do remember that my CM was watery/stretchy/yucky for a couple months after I had Mirena taken. I thinks that's just part of the process. GL on your journey!!!!
