Annoying ex-wife

Ladies, idk if it's me but has anyone else ever loved someone who has a really bad past? My boyfriend has an ex wife who keeps his daughter away and she hates me because he is happy. She constantly insults him and threatens to change his daughter's last name to her maiden name or to the name of the guy she cheated on him with. She even had the 5 year old little girl call him and tell him that. This baby mama drama is so old that I confronted her and let her know she can't bully him because he wasnt alone and helpless. Now she is trying to be all nice and act like she wants him there for the daughter but a couple of days ago she told me he was a shitty dad and it was too late for him to be there for the daughter. Mind you, this lady divorced him and cheated on him and there are even nudie pics out there of her doing it with other guys. Do any of you ladies have any advice on how to go about ignoring her or at least dealing with it? My boyfriend is trying to be civil to see his daughter but she wont even let him. I know i wont deal with her but i like his daughter. Unfortunately i have a feeling the little girl might end up hating me because of her hateful mom...
