Food aversions

I'm 13 weeks pregnant and my husband is upset with me because I don't eat meat or vegetables, but mostly just carbs. I keep trying to explain to him that if I think about eating meat or veggies, I automatically feel like I'm going to throw up. He thinks I'm making it up (because I've never been a huge veggie fan), but I truly am not making it up. I tried to eat a few carrots today, but that was about all I could stomach as far as healthy food. I keep telling him it'll pass, and I take my prenatal vitamins religiously. These aversions, although not the ideal foods to be adverse to, are normal, right?
